“ Our favorite Chinese restaurant. We drive from Eastern Greensboro regularly. Food is great. Portions run fair to generous. The family meal is an excellent deal. Plenty for 2 adults and an athletic teen. Easily feed 4-6 adults. They give you serval options with their lunch special (we usually take the canned drink instead of the egg roll). The food is absolutely amazing when eaten fresh in the restaurant. The atmosphere is typical for a small family run restaurant, I like it, but I know some people won't. ”

“ This place was more than expected. The food (Chicken with cashews) was superb, and along with wonton soup and egg rolls. I asked for Chinese tea, but the cashier said that was not available. I said that was OK, and ordered sweet tea. My wife and I were enjoying our dinner when to my surprise I was given at our table a cup of Chinese tea. :) That was a pleasant surprise and an enjoyable one at that. I think that was not a sale item but was given out of courtesy. The staff was all so friendly as we were leaving the restaurant as we expressed our appreciation to all. ”

“ The secret to great take out Chinese food is consistency and Happy garden consistently makes great food that has placed it on a short list of "safe" restaurants where we can go and know exactly what we are going to get. Well cooked, well seasoned, food that is well worth the price. Couldn't recommend more. ”
